Information for a correct use of email
Upon matriculation in Siena, an institutional email address (@student.unisi.it) is provided to incoming students.
From then on, only emails from the above mentioned address will be processed.
They must be sent to the email alias <[email protected]>, not to the addresses of the individual staff members.
 
Also, in order to avoid errors due to the coincidence of names,  your NAME, SURNAME and MATRICULATION NUMBER should always be indicated, otherwise requests will not be considered.
 
The Incoming exchange student academic office will upload courses on student's online record book and issue the certificates at the end of their mobility period, i.e. 
Certificate of attendance, End of stay certificate, Certificate of Departure and Transcript of records.

 

INCOMING EXCHANGE STUDENT CAREER
  • The University of Siena has long adopted an online exam management system, most of the procedures take place online.

The INCOMING EXCHANGE ACDEMIC STUDENT OFFICE will inserts the chosen teachings of the Learning agreement in the online booklet of the student secretariat profile.

Even if your exams have not been uploaded online, you can still go to class.
In UniSi the lessons are open to everyone, in fact there is no attendance register for most of the courses.

To consult the lesson timetables, you must refer to the department to which the course belongs https://www.unisi.it/strutture/dipartimenti

When your booklet has been uploaded to your student profile, you will receive a confirmation email containing the link and instructions for accessing with UNISIPASS credentials
you will necessarily and carefully check that everything is exactly as in your presented study plan, otherwise please report any anomalies by e-mail to [email protected].

 

MOST IMPORTANT Only student of medical area (Dentistry, Medicine and surgery ) 
The Learning Agreement to be signed and uploaded to the online exam booklet must be sent to [email protected]

DEADLINES (send Google form)

PERIODS OF SENDING  Google form  (contain del PDF learning agreement signed) or subseuent changes DURING THE MOBILITY  to https://forms.gle/fsTC7YktTLyGsBfu9

  • from 1 September to 23 October (incoming student to UniSI for first semeser and annul student)
  • from 1 February to 25 March (incoming student to UniSI for second semester, and changes for the annual student)

 

OPENING HOURS

(presso Urp/International Place – Via Banchi di Sotto, 55 - Palazzo del Rettorato)

  • Monday, and Tuesday  appointment (with Ufirst App) in presence from 10 to 12.
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday  only with remote appointment(with Ufirst App) on Gmeet from 10 to 12. 
  • Please note: in this period due to the many requests the GMeet remote service is suspended. 

To book an appointment, users must download the Ufirst App  on their mobile phone which will allow you to select the office where you want to go and make an appointment online (Gmeet) or in person.
The system will present the list of available times and it will be sufficient to select the one of your preference.

Wait for the Incoming Exchange Student Academic Office email for connection and confirmation on Gmeet.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE/ End mobilty period

PROCEDURES AT THE END OF YOUR MOBILITY PERIOD

for a successful completion of your mobility period, please CAREFULLY follow these instructions(at least two days before departure):
 
1 - remember to return any books you may have borrowed from Unisi libraries. (we shall then check with the appropriate staff).
 
2 - if you have a CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE of your university, you can e-mail it to <[email protected]@unisi.it> and we shall compile it. 
 
You must also submit any ticket confirming the date of your departure. 
That will be the official date and will be uploaded on our Student Information System.
 
 
TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS

The Transcript of records (ToR) is a document bears a digital signature that, on the basis of cryptographic protocols, certifies its authenticity
and integrity according to Italian Legislative Decree 7 March 2005, no. 82 as subsequently modified. A hard copy will not be sent out.
Please consider that the document was signed using a new digital signature. 

The files can be opened. In order to visualize it, you should have a standard PDF reader (such as Adobe reader). At the top left click on the signature icon so you can see.

REQUESTED TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS

we need an email to [email protected]

In order to prepare your Transcript of Records (list of exams taken and credits acquired), please provide us with:
 
  • your matriculation number at the University of Siena)
  • list of all exams taken
  • list of exams passed (those with marks ranging from 18/18 to 30/30) and those failed (if any).
 
Please note:
  • we will not be able to send the TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS until all the exam results are available on the online booklet;
  • failed exams will not be included in your Transcript of Records;
  • Once your Transcript of Records is sent out, your Erasmus study period will be over and no changes can be made.
