Double degree programme with the Universidad de Sevilla - Spain
Information for students enrolled at the University of Siena.
The Department of Medical Biotechnologies is involved in a cooperation programme with the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain). This allow students in the Master’s Degree programme in Medical Biotechnologies to earn a double degree. Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded both the Master in Medical Biotechnologies of the University of Siena and the Master Investigación Médica: clínica y experimental of the Universidad de Sevilla.
Please be advised that, due to evolving pandemic conditions in different countries and geographical areas, international mobility programmes may be suspended or undergo significant changes in terms of implementation (in presence or remotely) or timing, in accordance with any restrictions in destination countries.  Students’ mobility abroad will be subject to final approval by the Host Institution.
The selection procedure is open to those enrolled in their first year of the Master of Science in Medical Biotechnologies at the University of Siena with a weighted average of 28/30 or higher.
Candidates must have level B1 knowledge of of the Spanish language.
The programme provides 2 available places. To obtain the double degree students will be required to spend the second semester of the second year of their Master’s programme at the Universidad de Sevilla.
Students participating in the double degree programme must have obtained all first-year university credits (CFU) as provided for in their respective study plans before the beginning of their study abroad period
