Objectives: Develop a haptic-enabled immersive platform for surgical education - Integrate cutting-edge VR and AR capabilities with wearable haptic devices to create realistic and immersive learning experiences - Improve learning outcomes and patient care by enhancing the comprehension and skill acquisition of medical students through haptic-enabled immersive learning - Reduce the environmental impact of traditional physical laboratories by providing digital immersive training scena.
ImmersiveSurgicalEdu results will be developed: - R1: compendium on applying immersive learning practices for medical study programmes - R2: immersive learning scenarios for the selected study programme - R3: Re-designed selected study programme by integrating the developed learning scenarios Targets: 1) increased digital transformation skills and competences of at least 80 students 2) increased teachers competences (totally 4 teachers) 3) improved learning experience for at least 80 students.
