Welcome Back Day: l'Università di Siena e ESN Siena salutano gli studenti di ritorno dall'Erasmus

Il 18 marzo, nell'Aula Magna del Rettorato, un incontro dedicato a chi è rientrato/a dopo un periodo di mobilità internazionale.

Tornare da un periodo di studio all'estero è una fase delicata e ricca di stimoli. Per supportare gli studenti e le studentesse in questo passaggio e condividere il bagaglio di competenze acquisite, l’Università, in collaborazione con il Gruppo Erasmus Siena (ESN), organizza il Welcome Back Day.

  • L'appuntamento è per il 18 marzo 2026, a partire dalle ore 15:00, presso l'Aula Magna del Rettorato.

 Programma della giornata

L'incontro offrirà spunti pratici e momenti di confronto per affrontare al meglio il rientro in sede e capitalizzare l'esperienza vissuta:

  1. Riconoscimento dei crediti: le procedure per il riconoscimento delle attività sostenute all'estero.

  2. Competenze trasversali: Erasmusness, un progetto europeo per certificare le soft skills tramite il sistema delle micro-credenziali.

  3. Feedback e Spirito Erasmus: a cura di ESN Siena, un momento per raccogliere le vostre impressioni e scoprire come restare attivi nella community attraverso il progetto "students helping students".

 

Al termine della sessione in aula, l'evento si sposterà nel Cortile del Rettorato per la Merenda Erasmus. Sarà un'occasione informale di incontro tra gli studenti appena tornati e quelli che si apprestano a partire il prossimo anno, per uno scambio diretto di consigli, suggerimenti e storie vissute.

Welcome Back Day: The University of Siena and ESN Siena greet Students returning from Abroad

On March 18, the Rectorate Assembly Hall (Aula Magna) will host a special event dedicated to those who have recently completed an international mobility period.

 

Returning from a study period abroad is a significant and stimulating transition. To support students during this phase and celebrate the wealth of skills acquired, the University—in collaboration with ESN (Erasmus Student Network) Siena—is pleased to host the Welcome Back Day.

 

  • The event will take place on March 18, 2026, starting at 3:00 PM in the Rectorate Assembly Hall (Aula Magna).

 Event Programme

The meeting will provide practical insights and opportunities for discussion to help you make the most of your return and capitalize on your international experience:

 

  1. Credit Recognition: Guidance on the procedures for recognizing academic activities completed abroad.

  2. Soft Skills & "Erasmusness": Introduction to the European project designed to certify your cross-curricular skills through the micro-credentials system.

  3. Feedback & the Erasmus Spirit: A session led by ESN Siena to gather your impressions and discover how to stay active in the community through the "students helping students" initiative.

Networking & Erasmus Social

Following the session, the event will move to the Rectorate Courtyard for the Erasmus Social (Merenda Erasmus). This will be an informal opportunity for recently returned students to meet those preparing to depart next year, allowing for a direct exchange of advice, tips, and travel stories.
