Il X Think Tank della Fondazione NIBIT – Italian Network for Tumor Bio-Immunotherapy è finalizzato alla condivisione, con la più ampia comunità scientifica, dei risultati della ricerca e delle iniziative promosse dal gruppo di ricerca della Fondazione NIBIT, nel contesto del rapido e continuo sviluppo dell’immunoterapia oncologica a livello internazionale.

 

L’incontro rappresenta un’importante occasione di confronto professionale e di aggiornamento scientifico per tutti i partecipanti.

Come nelle precedenti edizioni, il Meeting è organizzato in collaborazione con il Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) di San Francisco e con il World Immunotherapy Council (WIC).

 

Nel corso dell’evento, scienziati di riconosciuto prestigio internazionale nel campo dell’immunoterapia oncologica si confronteranno su tematiche scientifiche, traslazionali e cliniche selezionate, coinvolgendo i partecipanti in discussioni ad elevato grado di interattività.

 

Gli obiettivi del Meeting saranno:

  • Condividere prospettive, conoscenze ed esperienze su tematiche altamente selezionate di immuno-oncologia (I-O).
  • Promuovere lo sviluppo di nuove collaborazioni precliniche, cliniche e formative tra i partecipanti, con il supporto organizzativo e finanziario degli enti scientifici co-organizzatori.
  • Offrire a giovani ricercatori preselezionati, anche attraverso il WIC, l’opportunità di presentare progetti e idee di ricerca inerenti alle tematiche individuate per il Meeting, che saranno oggetto di discussione e potranno eventualmente essere sviluppati o ospitati presso le istituzioni partecipanti al Think Tank.
  • Elaborare un manoscritto scientifico sotto forma di white paper sulla base dei contenuti, del confronto e dei risultati emersi durante il Meeting.

A vision of I-O: call to Action - October 8-10, 2026

 

The X Think Tank of the Italian Network for Tumor Bio-Immunotherapy (NIBIT) Foundation is focused on sharing with the enlarged scientific community the research findings and initiatives of the NIBIT Foundation research team in the context of the rapidly evolving field of cancer immunotherapy worldwide. A great opportunity for professional exchange and scientific update for all participants.
 
As in the past editions, the Meeting is organized in collaboration with The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) in San Francisco and the World Immunotherapy Council (WIC).
 
During the event world-wide acknowledged scientists in the field of cancer immunotherapy will debate about pre-selected scientific, translational and clinical research topics, engaging the attendees in highly interactive discussions.
 
Aims of the meeting will be:
  • Sharing the vision on highly selected I-O topics
  • Implementing new collaborations (pre-clinical/clinical/educational) among participants and with the organizational (and financial) support of the scientific Co-Organizing entities
  • Presenting research projects/ideas by pre-selected (also through WIC) young investigators in the identified topics of the meeting to be discussed and eventually hosted in Institutions participating to the Think Tank
  • Generating a white paper manuscript
