Obiettivi/Aims

ll dottorato in Social Sciences and Humanities ha l'obiettivo di formare studentesse e studenti provenienti dalle discipline delle scienze sociali e politiche e delle scienze cognitive. È diviso in due curriculum:

  • “Mind and Cultures“, che include discipline comprese nei settori ERC SH4 (“The Human Mind and its Complexity”) e SH5 (“Cultures and Cultural Productions”), e
  • “Society and Politics“, che verte intorno ai settori SH2 (“Institutions, Governance and Legal Systems”) e SH3 (“The Social World and its Diversity”). Il dottorato prevede una formazione metodologica comune nel primo anno, accompagnata da una progressiva specializzazione disciplinare nel secondo e nel terzo anno.

 

The Ph.D programme in Social Sciences and Humanities welcomes students and researchers with a background in political and social sciences and in cognitive sciences. It comprises two curricula:
  • “Mind and Cultures”, which includes disciplines in the ERC sectors SH4 (“The Human Mind and its Complexity”) and SH5 (“Cultures and Cultural Productions”), and
  • “Society and Politics” , which focuses on the SH2 (“Institutions, Governance and Legal Systems”) and SH3 (“The Social World and its Diversity”) sectors. Ph.D students receive a common methodological training in the first year, while they specialize in their discipline in the second and third year.
