OBIETTIVI/AIMS
Le principali aree di ricerca caratterizzanti il dottorato sono: automatica e identificazione di sistemi dinamici, robotica, bioinformatica, sistemi complessi, intelligenza artificiale, sistemi di calcolo ad alte prestazioni, sistemi di supporto alle decisioni, ingegneria dei campi elettromagnetici, elettronica e misure elettroniche, ingegneria elettrica, telecomunicazioni, cybersecurity, applied mathematics. Le aree di ricerca si integrano nei due temi interdisciplinari Big Data e Industry 4.0, con particolare attenzione alle tematiche attinenti il PNRR, come il processo di digitalizzazione, automatizzazione e messa in sicurezza dei processi produttivi e della pubblica amministrazione, l’ottimizzazione delle risorse e il risparmio energetico, l'utilizzo della bioinformatica e dell'intelligienza artificiale in campo medico. Il corso è finalizzato a fornire agli studenti i metodi e le competenze necessari per affrontare temi innovativi sia di tipo scientifico che tecnologico, in ambito accademico e industriale.
The main areas characterising the PhD course are: automation and dynamic systems, robotics, bioinformatics, complex systems, artificial intelligence, high performance computing, decision support systems, electromagnetics, electronics and sensors, telecommunications, cybersecurity, applied mathematics. All research areas contribute to form an interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of Big Data and Industry 4.0, with particular reference to the themes indicated by the PNRR, including the digitalisation, automation and security of productive systems and public administration, resource optimisation and energy saving, the use of bioinformatics and artificial Intelligence for health. The PhD course aims at providing students with methods and skills necessary to handle and promote innovation from both a scientific and technological point of view, in both industry and academia.
