After various experiences in various medical and coordination roles in the private healthcare system, Vannucci became Vice-Director, with functions of Vice-Chief Medical Officer for coordination of Hospital Units of Local Health Authority of Florence - ASL 10.
He has been a member of the work group focused on the process for accreditation requirements and of the regional Quality and Safety commission (2009-2011), he then became coordinator of the same commission (2013-2016).
Andrea Vannucci joined the Regional Health Agency of Tuscany in 2012 as the Head of Quality & Equity Unit and is currently the Director since November 2016.
He is member of the Board of the National Outcome Evaluation Program (PNE), representing Tuscany region.
Member of the Scientific Board, Formas Journal “Salute e Territorio”, ordinary Member of the National Academy of Medicine, Coordinator of Specialized Section “Healthcare Management and Organization”.
During his career he experienced teaching in matters as Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public health, healthcare administration, performance improvement, accreditation process and human resources development in University courses, master, training courses organized by the health care system. He was encharged for consultancy and team member in institutional committees by Health Ministry, National Agency for regional health services, Tuscany Region and other local entities.
