Lucio Barabesi is Full Professor of Statistics. His research interests deal with environmental sampling, social surveys of populations bearing stigmatizing variables, statistical analysis of scientific performance, random variate generation and statistical fraud detection. He is author of about 100 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, in addition to monographs, book chapters and conference proceedings. He has been serving as an Associate Editor for the journals Environmental and Ecological Statistics, Journal of Agricultural, Biological and Environmental Statistics and Statistical Methods and Applications, and Co-Editor of Statistical Methods and Applications. He is a regular reviewer of many international scientific journals.
