Rule of competition.

1 - Date: April 5 ^Th. - 6 ^Th. 2003

2 - Location address: Palazzetto C.U.S. - via L. Banchi n° 3 - SIENA

3 - Admittance to the competition: by invitation of the Organizing Committee and/or by FIJLKAM Office for JUDO.

Admittance is allowed to National Representatives, for the countries that are part of IJF, and to Italian Regional Representatives.

4 - Competition.

Male and female individual competition for national and regional delegations for the following classes:

UNDER 20 - young born: 1984 - 1985 - 1986 (and younger: 1987 e 1988)

5 - Weight classes.

UNDER 20 woman: Kg.-44, -48, -52, -57, -63, -70, -78, +78.
UNDER 20 men:       Kg.-55, -60, -66, -73, -81, -90, -100, +100.

6 - Formula of the competition: preliminary fights with double repechage.

7 - Duration of the match: 4' real time.

8 - Entries:

• Confirmation of Team participation within January 31, 2003..
• Sending of athletes' names within March 10^Th., 2003 to the following address:

Entries will be limited to a maximum of 350 competitors.

The postmark date makes priority. Unacceptable entries will be notified in due time.

UNDER 20 woman

Unofficial: from 07,30 p.m. to 08,00 a.m. on Sunday April 6^Th
Official: from 08,00 a.m. to 09,00 a.m. on Sunday April 6^Th

UNDER 20 men.

Preliminary fighting with repechage: Saturday April 5^Th on 12,30 p.m.
Final: Sunday April 6^Th on 02,30 p.m.
Prizing: Sunday April 6^Th on 06,00 p.m.

UNDER 20 woman

Preliminary fighting with repechage: Sunday April 6^Th on 09,30 a.m.
Final: Sunday April 6^Th on 02,30 p.m.
Prizing: Sunday April 6^Th on06,00 p.m.

10 - Each Team can take part to the competition with 8 (eight) judokas and with a maximum of 2 (two) participants for each weight category and : 1 (one) Team Leader, 1 (one) Coaches. The presence of a referee wearing official uniform would be appreciated.

11 - Score for Teams' place-list.

Final results will be made after awards.

12 - Documents.

Foreign athletes:
A) Membership league licence.
B) Identity card.

13 - Prizes.

Individual medals up to the 3^rd (third) place ex-equo classified.
Cups to the first 5 (five) Teams.
Special prizes will be offered by local sponsors.

14 - General rules.

a. No athlete, coach or manager will be admitted among judges unless it be expressedly convened by the Official Committee.
b. The organizing Club disclaims all responsibilities for any damage/injury which might occur to anyone during the competition.
c. Claims, if any, have to be issued in writing and addressed to the Presiding Judge Committee, supported by the amount of Lit. 100.000 .= as claim-tax to be reimbursed if claim is accepted.
d. The official Committee reserves to itself the right of modifying the present rules at any time and without previous notice, should this be necessary for ensuring a satisfactory success of the competition.
e. For all which is not expressedly specified, the F.I.J.L.K.A.M. rules in force for 2003, shall govern.
