the school consists of 70 hours of instruction within 10 days. The choice of the
Sardinian center has been made by virtue of the collaboration with the previously active doctorate between the university of Nuoro, Sassari, Milan, Venice and Siena. Currently the choice of Ingurtosu (Cagliari) is renewed in order to facilitate
participation with the students of the university of Milan and Sassari, who attend the school. The school has 12 years of activity by now, and has seen the participation of many teachers of some European countries and Americans, among them Sven Erik Jørgensen, review editor of Ecological Modelling and teacher at Università of Copenaghen, Charles Perrings, of the University of York, Christian Leipert of the International Institute of Environment and Society of Berlin and Trista Patterson, of the University of Maryland.
