MARIO MENICHELLA,
physicist and freelance writer, has been interested in astronomy and
computer simulation since he was sixteen. He studied astrophysics
at the University of Florence in Italy, where he was awarded the
master's degree in 1995. Currently he attends the 2nd year of a Master
in Science Communication organized by the International School
for Advanced Studies (ISAS) in Trieste, Italy.

GABRIELLA RAIMONDO
studied physics at the University of Pisa in Italy, where she graduated
in 1995 with a Diploma thesis titled "Stars as neutrino sources".
Then she has won a fellowship at the Collurania Astronomical
Observatory in Teramo (Italy), where she currently works.
Her scientific interests mainly concern stellar evolutionary problems
and the integrated properties of stellar clusters and galaxies.
