E-learning International Master

in Cosmetic Science and Technology

E-learning and the technologies applied to education are rapidly changing and in next few years they will renew our methods of teaching.

We therefore offer here a second level Master course aimed at innovation. The Master we propose develops along a highly qualifying formative path and gives the opportunity of studying at "home", being thus suitable to a larger population of graduated students, whose place of work is far from the School.

The teaching activity is organized in about 800 lectures that take advantage of multimediality to make the explanations more clear and immediate. The Master is designed to be highly flexible and adjustable to the students’ needs.

Being this an International Master requested by several Countries, all the lectures will be broadcasted in English, and will be accessible through the e-learning Q.it platform of the University of Siena. Support services, tutoring, secretary, schedules etc. are accessible through the portal of Centre of Cosmetic Science and Technology.

One of the priority aspects is undoubtely the teaching proposal. E-learning overcomes the problem of teacher availability, giving at the same time the opportunity to approach the most qualified experts in academic and industrial fields.

The lectures are complemented by laboratory training, that will be performed in Italy, both at University of Siena and other selected laboratories.

This Master aims to give the theoretical and practical knowledge required for the preparation of highly qualified specialists in Science and Technology of Cosmetic Products.

This Master will provide knowledge in the cosmetic field relevant for carrying out activities related to cosmetic and sanitary areas.

The acquisition of such expertises will be suitable for working in laboratories of Basic Research, Research and Development, Production, Analytical and Microbiological Control, Certification, as well as in the fields of Communication and Marketing and Technical-Scientific information.

The acquired qualification obtained during the theoretical and practical courses is highly qualifying and enables to carry out the activities of Technical Manager, Import Manager and Safety Evaluator.

Special emphasis is given to Marketing aspects and Company Internationalization.

The proposed Master represents the equivalent for foreign students of the actual second level Master in Cosmetic Science and Technology mainly addressed to Italian students.

E-learning and this new formative proposal allow to meet the growing requests from foreign students and working students.
