Second European Workshop in Drug Synthesis

May, 25th – 30th, 2008 – Certosa di Pontignano, Siena (Italy)

The University of Siena is organizing the "Second European Workshop in Drug Synthesis" (II EWDSy), to be held, from May, 25th to 30th 2008, in Certosa di Pontignano, on the outskirt of the beautiful city of Siena, in Tuscany. The next edition will deal with Synthesis of Drugs, Combinatorial Chemistry, Stem Cells and Bioanalysis. The first and the last 2 days will consist of lessons in the morning and exercises in the afternoon, while the third day will consist of lectures in the morning and discussions in the afternoon.

EWDSy will feature more than 20 well known researchers from the University and from the Pharmaceutical Industry, including directors of research, working with a maximum number of 60 workshop participants.

With the purpose to stimulate helpful discussions, attendees will be invited to present in poster format their own research problems.

Some posters will be selected at the session for a short presentation during the Workshop week.

Participation in the Second European Workshop in Drug Synthesis is limited to 60 applicants, selected on the basis of individual experience.Fee for participation (Euro 1.500,00) will include all meals and hotel accommodation in two-bed rooms for six nights (some single rooms are also available, supplementary fee Euro 200,00).
