The focus of the Interaction Design Center will be the investigation of educational potentialities of performance contexts. From classrooms to work environments one of the privileged way human beings utilize to learn something new is by doing and collaboratively “acting” in the various settings. The idea of considering performances (whichever “traditional” or experimental) as educational experiences stems from the cultural psychology (or culturalism). Such theoretical framework will address the exploration of the widest range of performance formats in order to structuring contextual elements that characterize those as educational experiences. This will further guide to the design and the assessment of tools or assembly of artefacts for enhancing learning experience within performance contexts.
