The development of Educational Activity Plans has been an emergent
process in our team spanning 10 years of R&D and teaching work.
• Constitutes educational innovation
• Constitutes tool for intervention in educational settings
• Constitutes tool for communication with digital media developers.
• Constitutes tool for engaging teachers in constructionist
activity for professional development reasons.
• Constitutes tool for infusing innovation in educational
system orgs
• Contains social orchestration, teacher strategies, student
activity, generation of meaning processes, domain concepts and digital
media concepts, student productions
• Innovation consists of: Constructionism, group work, collaboration,
communication, generation of meanings, experiments – enquiry
learning.
• Includes the use of a digital medium which has been specially
designed for the activity re functionalities and representations
as well as content
• Has been the team’s practice for ten years of R&D
projects, for professional development projects and in University
Masters’ courses.
• Each activity plan contains two things:
o documentation addressed to teachers primarily but also could be
used by students
o digital artefact (a piece of software, a microworld) built for
students to use as an integral aspect of their activity and their
learning.
