ARRIVAL IN SIENA

Upon arriving in Siena the student should first go to:

In this office the student may:

  • do his/her registration;
  • receive information about the University;
  • receive information about accommodations;
  • receive a card to use in the University canteens;
  • enrol in the Italian language course 
    (the administrative fee is € 63,00 – the course is optional)

Students must communicate their address and telephone number in Siena to this office.  They must also inform the office of any changes.
The student will need 2 photos and a passport or national ID card.

ENROLMENT IN THE LLP/ERASMUS PROGRAMME

The enrolment must be carried out in the:

Necessary documents:

  • Valid passport or national ID card
  • Letter of presentation from the student’s home University
  • 2 document size photos (no photocopies will be accepted)

ENROLLMENT CERITFICATE

An enrolment certificate is issued for each student (1 original copy + 2 photocopies)
The original copy of the enrolment certificate must be kept as proof of enrolment as an Erasmus student in the University of Siena and it will also be requested in order to use university services (library, computers, internet ……)

ERASMUS STUDY BOOKLET

Students must register the following didactic activities carried out in the University of Siena in their Erasmus study booklet:

  • attendance to lessons;

  • examinations;

  • other activities (for example written papers, laboratories, seminars etc.)

The booklet must be filled and signed only by professors or lecturers!

Remember that before leaving the study booklet must be:

  • stamped by both the International Relations office and the library of your faculty;
  • handed in at the Erasmus office.

FINAL TRANSCRIPT

At the end of your studies at the University of Siena a final transcript will be issued (with English translation).  This transcript must be handed over to your home University.
PLEASE NOTE: FINAL TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE ISSUED AND ATTENDANCE DOCUMENTS SIGNED ONLY AFTER STUDENTS HAVE HANDED IN THEIR STUDY BOOKLET TO THE ERASMUS OFFICE.

(For particular needs Erasmus students may choose courses from any Faculty of the University of Siena.)
